End of First Quarter Reflection (Wk 8)

As first quarter comes to a close, reflect back on the last 9 weeks. What has gone well? What did you learn about yourself? Is there anything that you will do differently next quarter? What strategies have you applied or want to try (for organization, homework completion, test preparation, etc.)? Think about all your classes, not just LA/SS!

Remember to use proper capitalization and punctuation!

In the last 9 weeks, I am pretty satistfied. Everything has gone quite well, and I learned that I am actually quite good in science. Next quarter I would like to improve my projects and make them more organized. I would also like to redecorat my locker from dull to fan-tabulous!

In the past nine weeks I feel I have done very well. I have contacted my teachers when I have to leave or didn't write something down in my spiral. One thing I could improve on would be using my time better, if a project is due on Friday and its Monday I shouldn't be doing it on Thursday night (which most of the time I find myself doing).

This quarter was at first challenging for me to be honest, i couldn't do much and had a few things missing. But know i am trying to get up on my feet and get ahold of my grades i am working as hard as i can on weeknights and enjoy the weekends as much as i can. If i have homework over the weekend i might slack off and wait until sunday to do it but i think i need to change that and just get it done that day so I'm not stressing about it all weekend. I hope i can do well next quarter.!!

The quarter was amazing for me because my locker; unlike my desk in 3rd and 4rth grade, is actually neat for once and I have a wonderful math grade! What I have discovered about myself is that I am a very descriptive writer, but I don't have a very steady hand. My goal for next quarter is to try and steady my hand

I learned in this first quarter that can study and note take well, and that I'm good in Science and LA/SS. I want to be more organized and make my transitions between classes better. I also want to make my locker easier to get in and out of. I think I have learned to talk to my teachers more about understanding projects and grades. I feel like I'm prepared for next term.

Nine weeks ago, I didn't have any idea what was going on. It was completely different from grade school. But then I learned to find new rules, new friends, and more fun to my life. The next quarter, I should start working on not forgetting things and instructions.

to be honest, I want to be more organized.

In the past nine weeks, I have learned a lot. One of the most major things that I learned how being organized is very crucial. Junior high was very different than I was used to, with more assignments and tests to keep track of. Everything has gone well! I have learned more about myself, and how focused I can be on getting good grades and doing well. I also realized that if I plan my time well and get things done, I can balance schoolwork and hanging out with friends. Some things I would like to work on is not forgetting to write things down in my planner, and to check edline everyday to see what is posted. Some skills I have learned is how to study well, how to get good grades, and how to make new friends and keep the old!

In the past quarter, I have learned lots of things (mainly in writing) and hope to improve myself even more. Next quarter I hope to improve my organization skills a fair amount, and use a little bit more of wood-shop like skills for my 3D models.

I am very pleased with what has happened this quarter. I reached my goal of getting a 4.0 and that makes me so happy. I enjoyed the classes that I have had, and am glad that I shared most of them with my best friend. I think that as time went on I got better at not procrastinating, which is a very good thing. (The first few weeks I was staying up until 11 at night to finish projects!)Also my locker is much cleaner than it had been in fifth and sixth grade, and I think that has really helped with me getting to class on time. Also I learned that I am able to adapt well to different environments, and situations. I just moved here from a town so small, there is no stoplights. Also we didn't have school on friday, and not very much homework at all. Next quarter I would like to try for all A's again, and no A-'s. All in all I believe that my first quarter has been amazing, and I think that the rest of the year will be fantastic!

In this past quarter, I have realized that for some reason it is easier to stay on track when I have multiple teachers. I have also learnd some great tips and tricks for staying organized. The thing I will do diferently next quarter is try and time when I will work on assignments for what class.

In the last nine weeks, I think everything has gone well. I learned that I am not good at memorizing things. In the next quarter, I will try to get better grades. Also, I want to try different strategies for my test preparation.

In these past nine weeks I have had a pretty successful grades in all my classes. I relized that math isn't always going to be a difficult subject if you get help with it. I would like to achieve a better LA/SS grade but I would really like to get an A in orchestra.

In nine weeks, I'm pretty surprised that I didn't forget a lot of stuff or be late to class. I should probably use my planner more often because I usually didn't write stuff down. Next quarter I will be more organized. My locker was a mess and I couldn't find my stuff. I'm pretty happy with my grades, so im not worry ing about them. I should procrastinate less because I was really stressed when I was doing a project. I also want to prepare for a test when a teacher tells us to and not saving it fir the last day.

The first quarter has gone veery well for me. I thought getting to my classes was going to be hard but it was a breeze. My only problem was turning in small stuff like bookmarks, signed papers or bringing a book. I was surprised to find that i had a good grade in LA. Next quarter I would like to improve in remembering the small things as well as the big thing.

Gareth Hart, Red Block said...

My first Quarterhas been okay. I found it confusing at first but I eventually got used to it. At first I thought that middle school was nothing like elementry, but in truth there isn't much diffrence. the only problem I have is that I have trouble remebering to turn in assimints.

It's only been nine weeks? Oh, wow...

I think I did pretty well in LA.
I did my writing pretty well, but had trouble getting in the smaller stuff like the bookmarks and such. It's a big plus that you let us bring snacks, though! Can't wait until next quarter!

I have not really gained any of that that I'm able to idnetify right now.

In the last 9 weeks I have gotten really good grades and I have turned in all my assignments on time. I laarned that I am a really fast worker, and that I overreact to big assignments . next quarter I will try not to freak out as much, and just get my work done.

Over the last 9 weeks, I feel that I have done really well. Everything has gone by like the wind, faster than the blink of an eye. Even though I am doing well now, I don't want to slack off and let my grades slip. Now that I know what my everyday life will be like, I think I can manage my time more so I can get all my work done and still squeeze in a little free time.

Over the last nine weeks, my confidence in myself have jumped and I earned very good grades. What I learned about myself is that I am a fast learner when I want to be. Next quarter I cannot slack off or lose focus, just got to stay on track of whats important. My organization could use some help but over all I feel good about this quarter.

In the last 9 weeks I have been a little disorganized and I hope that next quarter I will become more organized by making sure I finish my homework and study for tests. I also think that I should work on asking the teacher for help when I need it.

Over the last nine weeks, I learned that going fast and not taking my time can impact on me and my grades. I also will try and improve my homework error and still continue to visit my classes before they start until I get good grades or at least passing grades no matter how hard it is.

This first quarter was amazing.
All my teachers were great and i learned a ton about jr. high. I learned i am a very visual learner and i learn more by doing interacts. I have been challenged, and all the hard work I put in, payed off in good grades. I have found that it is easier to remeber things with different teachers, unlike last year when i only had one. Next quarter i would like to stay up on my homework and study more. When I do study for a test i study a little bit each night.

This quarter was a new beginning, almost like a clean slate. I think that I have done a good job so far, but plan to work harder next quarter now that I've found out how middle school works. I'd like to improve how my projects stand out and give my best effort. I'd also like to keep all my grades up as best I can.

Jack S. red Block said...

In the past 9 weeks, I think I have been doing well however I could do better. Everything is going well so far, when I do projects I start when they are assigned or as soon as possible. I have put in enough effort in my assignments (but could add more). I would like to organize my locker because as of now it is a MESS. I ask my teachers if I need anything which thankfully is pretty rare. I just hope I can improve on the things needed next quarter but so far I love 7th grade!

The last 9 weeks have gone great. I am proud of myself for getting everything in on time. I organized my homework pretty well so I could get it done. Next quarter I want to work on studying a little bit more for quizzes and tests. I have really enjoyed this term and I hope to have another great one.

Over the past nine weeks I have accomplished pretty much everything I wanted. I have good grades, awesome teachers, and the classes I am in are not dull but interesting and fun. I found out that I work best if we are doing an interact, and if I have a partner to work with. Having multiple teachers isn't bad either! It's easier than having one teacher for some reason! I believe was organized with my planner and wrote EVERYTHING down so I made sure I was on top of things! Next quarter I wish to pay attention to directions more and not to make tiny silly mistakes. I am really excited for next quarter and what it has a store for me!!!

The quarter has gone so quickly! Over the past nine weeks i have leaned from great teachers, met tons of new people, and found out what middle school is like. Next quarter i think i will check edline and my planner more often because i found out that i am very messy and i lose things a lot. The class i think were i learn the most is LA/SS. I am looking forward for the next quarter!

I am shocked at how fast school is flying by. Over the past 9 weeks i have learned many new things and met alot of different types of people. I learned the quickest way from 2-d art to LA/SS (They are across the building from each other), I learned that a shewolf can raise twins to be the leaders of an empire and tons of other useful information. over all i am very proud of myself and glad to be an LOJ Sailor

Over the past 9 weeks, I have learned to start trying harder and being more responsible. I have been getting better at organization but still need to get better. I also am becoming more social which is a bit out of my comfort zone but the outcome would be worth it.

This quarter I feel I have been doing great in this class. I feel that the amount of homework is fair. Next quarter I will try to improve on doing my homework with the best quality I can. I will also try to not talk as much during classes.

during the first nine weeks of school, I had a great time. i was able to learn about many things. I was able to learn about Greece, Africa, and about many different writing technics. i learned that i was always willing to learn something new. In the next quarter, i wish to learn many new things and I wish to learn everything about Rome. At school, the main strategy that i used the most was paying attention and keeping up with homework. I also made sure that i always glued in the things i needed to glue into any of my notebooks. In the next quarter, i plan on preparing a lot more for my tests and quizzes so i am 100% sure that i will get a good score. I also plan on remembering to bring my notebooks or textbooks home when i need them. In conclusion, i had a great 1st quarter and i plan on having the same thoughts about school for three more quarters.

Over the past nine weeks I have had a great time at LOJ. I have learned that I need to prepare more for quizzes and tests, and how to do that. I need to work on bringing the stuff I need to bring home, home. I also have realized that I need to write down ALL of my homework. I have enjoyed this past quarter in conclusion and intend to have the same attitude about this current one.
